It won't take Sony years to catch up with the Xbox 360
Xbox don't have a lead, simple. Xbox have yet to make a profit any of the years that the 360 has been in cirrculation and every Xbox has a design fault which is going to set the company back $1billion so chances are no profit this year. And I doubt the business man on the news is a PS3 fanboy. Eventually when the PS3 has a price drop a greater number of people will buy it and with new games coming out the competitors will be level.
