Exceeding production will become an unsurpassable lead in next-gen race

Nintendo is now able to produce 9 million consoles by the end of the year. Microsoft will be lucky if it can even ship 10 million by that time, and Sony will only have a measly 2 million by years end.

Being the hot new item, with a hot new control scheme, Nintendo is poised to make leaps and bounds over Microsoft and beat Sony to the punch. When Nintendo sells all of its Wiis this holiday season, it will again be the leader. This is quite amazing considering it will take less than 2 months to do so.

Nintendo will win the next generation by creating a huge market for third party publishers to make games for in a record amount of time. It has taken Xbox 360 almost a year and they haven%u2019t even hit 8 million yet. Sony can%u2019t even get enough consoles to market to be able to match the Wii. Even if Sony%u2019s system was the best, it doesn%u2019t matter if no one can buy it.

Third party publishers make games for the system that has the most units, and when they see how fast people grab the Wii, third parties will all jump on the bandwagon and the Wii will dominate the next generation.
