New Pokemon has insane sales in Japan
Pokemon Diamond and Pearl were released in Japan to huge lines, reportedly selling over 2 million copies of both titles and 500,000 DS Lite systems. This shows all those anti-pokemon people that this game was definiately not a fad.
The website http://www.4colorrebellion.com/archives/2006/09/28/pokemon-diamond-pearl-break-sales-records/ shows some of the insane lines that preceeded the sell-out. The standard Pokemon games are actually great RPGs. Don't judge the game until you have tried it. These games are some of the best of their kind.
I can't wait until these new DS versions hit the US so I can play what I'm sure will be more classics to add to Nintendo's collection of games.
