Con: Nintendo Wii

Where are the games?
Where are the good Wii games? It's been almost 9 months since launch. Wouldn't this be enough time for developers to figure out this system rocks, and to get on board making amazing games for it? So far, the only quality games that have come out for Wii have all been Nintendo titles (Wii Sports, Super Paper Mario, Zelda). Is it possible that what has been hailed as the newest way to play video games is actually the main barrier to developers making high end games for this system?
There are incredibly innovative uses for this controller, which have already been demonstrated in games like Wii Sports and Wii Play. There are also classic uses for this controller, which fun games like Rez (anyone remember that) can be built around and yet games like Sonic and Madden, the same crap that comes out on every system, are ported, and prevail on the Wii (yes i know, they are tried and tested, so developers know they will bring in a certain amount of revenue).
The question is if we can't have awesome games through traditional means, when will Nintendo open up the virtual console and allow for indie developers to make money off their own minigames. I've had more fun playing the missile game on Wii arcade, save for the HUGE friggin Wii cursor obstructing my view. If only they'd come out with things like an arcade channel instead of the EVERYBODY VOTES crap.
