PS3 and Wii may be the new kids on the block, but Xbox 360 has the best holiday line up of games for any system ever. And you can bet there will be enough Xbox 360's on the shelf when the PS3 and Wii shelves are empty.
People will go for the system that has the most games and the latest technology they can get their hands on. Gears of War beats anything that the other two systems have in their foreseeable future. Being first was the best choice for Microsoft, they now have a huge installed base an publishers are lining up to make games for the 360.
In addition, Xbox Live gives smaller publishers a proven platform t make and distribute games without the huge expense of going through retail chains. Even though PS3 and Wii will have the press's attention, Microsoft wins this Holiday season.
