Pro: Nintendo Wii

It's the Simplicity of it all
The PS and the PS2 were amazing because they were simple, had a ton of games and they attracted the average consumer. The Wii really is a good followup to the PS2. It's simple, has a ton of games and attracts the average consumer. The Wii is what the PS3 should have been, however Sony decided to make it into a complex and expensive product that most people don't understand or even care to understand. They tell us it's the next generation of gaming, but it looks the same to most people and has a few games and on top of that it costs $600. The hardcore gamer wants a system that can fill its needs of powerhouse graphics and intense action thriller titles which in fact already exists, it's called the Xbox 360. It seems that most people would spend the $6 a month for gold membership rather than look into a new online service offered by Sony. Because when Sony shoots off with a $600 price tag and then says "oh yeah the online service is free", most of us didn't see past the ridiculous console price.
