Do the math next time.
Okay, first off 380 watts is wrong, it uses an average of 193 watts during gaming.
Okay so, in order for you to use 100 dollars worth of electricity in a year, using 0.193 killowats an hour at 4.7 cents a killowatt you'd need to use your PS3 for 11 024 hours, or 30 hours of pure gaming per day! (don't believe me? do the math for yourself.)
Thus proving that the PS3 cannot cost near $100 per year to operate, a closer estimate would be 5-15 dollars a year, and that still a fair bit of gaming (1.5 hours a day to 4.5 hours a day)!
