I'm sorry but i fail to see where you conjured up $100 form. You do know that wii is a grossly inefficiant power consumer during stand-by, using almost 5x as much power, surely you didn't take this into account.
Oh and by the way, if you're so concerned about energy consumption, you should turn off your computer, its the biggest consumer of all.
