Monolith RPGs for Wii
Nintendo recently bought enough stock in Monolith to have control over the company. Monolith is known for Baten Katos on the Gamecube and Xenosaga on the PS2. This is good news for Wii gamers that want to see RPGs on the Wii.
Wii owners can now be assured that at least some RPG games will be coming to the Wii. On the flip-side, I'm sure this is disappointing news to Xenosaga fans who have always played their games on Sony systems. However, Xenosaga episode 2 and 3 did not fair well among critics and in sales, but now maybe with a new control scheme at their disposal the development team can make a unique RPG.
Nintendo knew it was lacking in the RPG department and finally did something about it. Hopefully we get some good unique projects out of Monolith for both the Wii and DS.
