Your first point is that 100M PS2 means playstation knows what they are doing. Everyone knows the PS2 was the best system of its generation. There was no real competition until the xbox which lost because it di not have alot of games or exclusive support due to it coming out so much later than the PS2 and having a lower instal base. This time around xbox came out first and has over three times the PS3 instal base which means the PS3 is losing exclusives to xbox and xbox is getting most of the support from developers. It is much more profitable now to make a game for the 360 then maybe port it to the Ps3.

 Which brings us to your next point about sony getting the best publishers on their side. This time they lost all that, games like GTA4 and Assins creed Devil May cry 4, Resident Evil 5, and others are going to the 360. And many PS3 games were cancelled due to it being very expensive and difficult to make games for the PS3. you can look up dropped titles and exlusive loses on the net.

You mention PS3 will be an unstopable juggernaut once they start pumping out consoles. The Wii has sold almost 3 times as fast as the Ps3, will this "juggernaut" ever start?

The Cell and Blu-ray give the Ps3 no advatage. If you search for PS3 VS xbox 360 and hardware facts you will learn that the PS3 is restricted by memory and a slower read time off of BLue ray, which keep the Cell from performing good. Blue-Ray is not better that the 360 discs except they could hold more memory, Although they are mostly cut to hold less memory because it is noy needed. Oblivion was one disc. And who cares about changing a disc every 50 hours if a game needs 2 or more?

Your final argument is about Microsofts add ons. I'm not sure which add ons you are refering to. Most likely the HD DVD player. What Microsoft did was release their machine sooner without 1080P or HD dvd player, and cheaper too. Now you have the choice of whether or not to buy the HD DVD player instead of being forced to buy it like playstations blu ray. Some people just what to play games not pay for a high def player and buy more expensive movies for it. I have choice to buy a blu ray stand alone or whatever I want for DVDs.
