The PS3 vs the Wii is like cable vs digital cable, they both are good enough depending on what you want but the pS3 is a much better looking system as the cost confirm. I want to get a Wii because it looks like a FUN Group system. I think your comparing apples to oranges with the PS3 being a high end machine that will always have its niche and the Wii being a fun group(or solo) mid range machine. I beleive their is room for both.
