Exciting and Cool

Sounds like Sony is finally doing something interesting with their online service. A virtual world where you go to different locations to chat and play online games with others sounds great. The future expansion of this world is only limited to Sony and third party imagination.

Home sounds far superior to Xbox Live, and of course the 'barely there' Nintendo Wii online service. Having your own virtual house to show off your game ranking trophies and other items sounds awesome. Talking to your online friends in a virtual world and then going to play a game together just enhances the online experience.

The world that you roam looks filled with things to do. Going to arcades to play classic games. Meeting friends to play online PS3 games. I would assume Sony would make an online virtual store for purchasing PS1 games to play on your PSP. They probably will have movie trailers and demos that you can download. Sony has announced that when you bring people over to your virtual house, you can play some music that is on your PS3 hard drive, and everyone there will be able to hear it. Simply awesome.

I can't wait to fill my home with lots of cool stuff (including trophies from my online gaming victories) so my online friends can come check it out. Then we can all hang out online, or go play a game together. Hurry and bring this thing online Sony!
