More proof of the Wii's momentum
The Wii outsold the PS3 almost 2:1 during January. With many people not being able to find Wiis even today and PS3s sitting on the shelf, I can only conclude that the Wii is in much better shape than the PS3.
Like what I said in my previous arguments is that momentum is the big killer in the console race. Once a system has that big momentum behind it, nothing can stop the train. Even the PS2, with all its initial problems and continuous hardware failures were not enough to stop the momentum Sony had at the beginning of the last generation. That is why Sony said they had already won the console race merely a year after the Xbox and Gamecube were released. The Wii now has that momentum, and if Nintnedo can keep it up for through the remainder of this year, I don't see either Sony or Microsoft toppling Nintendo this time around.
