Con: Sony PSP

Poor holiday sales are bad indicator
Sony has their work cut out for them. Falling PS3 sales, and now a report that states that the PSP is selling well under last year.
Shipping data is showing that Sony shipped out 72% less than last holiday. Either stores had too many systems on their shelves left over from fall or the system hardly sold at all, or most likely a little of both.
I would conclude that the PSP is failing in face of the DS (which continues to sell-out even after the holidays). Sony just doesn't have any 'must-have' games for their portable. Most of the games are ports, or in the case of GTA: Liberty City Stories, PSP games are ported to PS2. People don't have any incentive to purchase the system.
The movie idea has pretty much fizzled out with very few, if any, movie releases to UMD. You need a PS3 to play downloaded PS1 games. That is pretty rediculous, $600 (PS3) + $200 (PSP) to play some old PS1 games. It would be much better if the PSP could download the games over WiFi, because many of those classic titles would be great for on the go.
Unless Sony does something soon we could see the end of the PSP sooner than even the Sony haters anticipated.
