What do I like about the PS3?

Firstly wat I don't like about the other consoles.

Wii, just not interested in the games, I have a great deal of respect for Nintendo, but stupid decisions, the types of games they have done over the years (plus now), and not opening up completely to 3rd party sway me away.

360, same reasons i didnt like the xbox, just a basic normal computer capable console, nothing terribly bad about it, nothing special.

Now with the ps3, it's all well and good to say that someone will just say i love my ps3, because of the processor and blu-ray, but ur an idiot if u think that doesnt apply to games.  Take the processor, it can handly much more complex calcuations at once than the 360, this doesnt necessarily mean better graphics, but more immersive gameplay, to do with physical effects, environment, higher forms of AI.  This links into the Blu-ray format, the games are actually in this format, so from how much space gears of war takes up on a dual layer dvd, that's basically the limit right there for the 360, a launch title i might add.  It's not a matter of just swapping over discs all the time, what if the game is so huge, and u need to go back and forth, that ud need to keep swapping discs?  Don't know if u played Vice city, but it had 2 island areas basically, I found myself constantly weaving in and out, with an annoying load time, imagine swapping a disc over, just to move to the next area, not the next bit of story.  Why cell and blu-ray, simple, bigger, more complex games. 

The reason why the launch titles look better on the 360 is 1, not new-gen technology, not even close, just a high powered cpu, ontop of that, piss easy programming design tools, 3 most of the ps3 games were bloody PORTS, that's why ur looking at the same image on 2 different systems and guess what, PORTS ARE SHIT ON ANY SYSTEM IT'S CARTERED TO THE MAJORITY.  I mean, for gods sake.  It isn't a true test of the machines, because they're completely different to have a same game given to the other for test purposes.

You can go on all you like about what I've said, but I like my games complex, immersive, with depth, gears of war doesn't speak to me at all, as with halo, and that's all the xbox brand has to standout. if it wasnt for sony I still wouldn't be interested in console games, and just pc.
