On Sony provides substandard tools

Yes, microsoft makes it very easy for developers providing good developing tools, for a good system. Ingenuity is abound in that. This was made clear in the battle of the ps2 and xbox, and the more things change, the more they stay the same.

U can do more with the ps3, and if a developer isnt upto it, then I'm not interested in their games anyway. There was more ingenuity, and creativity in the ps2 library than xbox, let alone the ps1 and also psp. Metal Gear Solid 2 is a good example of this, the air particle physics, weather effects, just couldnt be done aswell on the xbox.



There's one big difference between the 360 and ps3. Innovation, just because it has a steeper learning curve for developers, doesnt mean it can't hold it's own, infact, ps3 games will easily surpass the 360 overtime, as developers get more intune with jst what can be achieved. The 360 is nothing more than a good pc setup, with harddrive, and a processor.

The ps3 can do more, faster. And this isnt just about graphics, the ps3 has the power to run complex scientific physics simulations, in gaming terms, it can do even more of what was in mgs2, not necessarily adding visually, but the feeling of reality.
