You are right about this. I dont really think much of this new playstation. For one, you guys mite remember that the ps1 was made in japan, the ps2, made in japan, but the ps3 is made in china. I for one know that most things that are made in the peoples republic are ****! Excusse my languge! Iv had my ps1 for nearly 6 years and apart from the odd frezze here and there, its still runing. And the same story with the ps2, had it 4 years and still keeps running. But my ps3, iv had it for ONE year and one month. ITs completly stuffed. It wont turn on, i cant get a signal with the controller, and theres apsaloutly no display. WHEN YOU PAY OVER £400 FOR A GAMES CONSLOE OR ANYTHING OF THAT MATTER, YOU EXPECT IT TO LAST LONGER THAN ONE YEAR. And i have been onto playstation about this, and they said it would cost £80 to get it fixed, other wise if you had it under one year, we could get it done free under the recipt. I think they diliberatly make these things spacificly only to last JUST OVER ONE YEAR, so in hope you go out and buy another one,ect! As well as all that, a six year old boy can fuiger out that the ps3 is not a quality product. For example the body casing is extremly flimsy, unlike the ps2, a solid rock, and the size of the thing is massive and very heavy. So thats basicly it, if you want a good games cnsloe that will last you longer than one year,consider the ps2 or the xbox 360.
