Broken Strap
I don't know about the law suite, but breaking a strap does happen, i broke one playing Wii Baseball and the remote flew accross the room but did not hit my tv, it hit the blinds and fell to the ground. It Still works but the strap is broken, and looks just like pictures on the net. So breaking is possible, as for the tvs, i dunno
