PSX Failure
the PSX failure he is talking about isn't the original Playstation but another machine that sony called the PSX, which was a media centre, digital recorder, DVD recorder all based on the PS2 console, it failed miserably. They were trying to make this the new media centre for the home, as such it wasn't and died a horrible death in terms of sales, which is what he means they didn't learn from it's failure as a system when it came in regards to the PS3 as the Media Centre for the home.
