Yes, but...
I agree that the pricing is justified for the hardware, but people don't buy game systems for their specs (well most people at least). If they did the 3DO and Neo Geo would have been the top sellers in their respective console wars. People buy game systems for their content.
There is some decent content for the PS3, but obviously not enough to make the price of entry worth it (if it were, sales would be a lot better). I know that MGS4 and Killzone 2 should both be very cool, but there is such a thing as too little too late (especially with only those two titles).
The momentum is obviously in Nintendo's on Microsoft's corner right now. No matter how you look at it, an insurmountable lead for Microsoft and Nintendo will make Sony the loser this generation no matter what big games come out.
