my process

i dont go around prancing for fps, the core components behind the game are all so simular that they need something else to really make it interesting (gravity and time control are some new ideas comign to the table) when i first started buying fps, i didnt really know what i was looking for, i bought world is not enough for the n64 because i remember having alot of fun playing golden eye with my friends, but that was a dissapointment. and for a while i stuck with what i genuinly enjoyed; rpg and strategy games. until later in 03 i finally got halo for the pc and had a blast online.  i bought an xbox so i could play halo2 and xboxlive for 6 months, and was vastely dissappointed. so once again i was dissappointed in the market, only recently have i played bioshock and killzone, and bought resistance because my friend convinced me. but overall i am not a fps kind of guy, which may be why im over analyzing the game and being as objective as possible with my opinions towards these games.

i havent played the full version of halo3 yet, but the demo was the same as halo2 with shinier surfaces.  so overall i hardly buy fps, i have alot more fun with third person shooters for some reason.
