Most people do want to watch a movie with their gaming system, because in stead of spending $1000 dollars for a blue ray disk player their getting the ps3 with blue ray disk and gaming capabilities for just $640 dollars, you said that you dont want that but many people do. And if you dont have an HD tv you can play regular dvds on it. And as far for games, the ps3 is a brand new system that just came out you cant expect 500 games to come out with it, and comparing it to the amount of games the xbox360 has out is very foolish considering that the xbox 360 has been out for more than a year than the ps3, and when the xbox came out it had few games as well. Right now there are many games coming out for the ps3 and alot of them exclusive to the ps3, and by many games I mean a lot of games that have awesome graphics. And finaly you get what you pay for the ps3 it dosent overheat and has the capability of way better graphics than the xbox360 elite. ps3(1080p) vs xbox360(1080i) and there is a huge difference in between 1080p and 1080i just ask any tv salesmen!
