In my opinion, I think its all about what kind of games you mostly enjoy...  The 360 has some of the best FPS games right now but they lack in making a decent RPGs.  I think you should go to best buy and play a little of each console and see which one you enjoy.  One thing I do recommend is if you're going to get the 360, you have to get at least the elite because that 20gb version fills up too quick and you'll be downloading and erasing demos all the time especially after download some of their arcade games which are fun and take up space on your HDD.  And if you're going for the PS3, then try to find a 60gb version because the 80gb one doesn't have the PS2 EE chip that makes it fully backwards compatible... And don't worry about the size of the HDD because you can easily upgrade to a 250gb for less than $200.
