Pro: Playstation 3

I agree, the 360 has no truly 'next-gen' features
First I want to say that I own a PS3, a Wii, and an xbox 360. The PS3 are my favorites, although I don't play it that much right now (you can only play so much motorstorm and resistance until more really cool stuff comes out).
Now the fun part:
The way I see it, the things that make a console 'next-gen' (really 'this-gen' by now) in 2007 are a greater connectivity/unification of all the digital crap that is starting to bury everyone and new and interesting ways of interacting with games. The 360 has made a semi-decent effort on the first point but I have yet to see any new control methods on the 360. The Wii has done decently on the second point but still can't even play DVDs. That Leaves the PS3, which has a decent offering of unification/connectivity features (cd/dvd/blu-ray player; hard drive for media storage; flash memory card reader; slightly underused online store; web browser; support for media servers; built in wifi, bluetooth and USB; and soon a place where you can 'walk around' and play with all of it- home) as well as exciting new ways to play games (Warhawk/Lair: sixaxis flying; motorstorm and probably others: sixaxis driving; Resistance and others: like a 'rumble input' instead of 'rumble output'). Therefore the PS3 seems the most 'next-gen' to me.
what I'm trying to say is that the abilities to put up more triangles per second and break faster don't make a system 'next-gen', I'm sorry Mr. Gates but your hunk o' junk just don't cut it.
