Copy & paste instead of twising my words

I never said 360 will have a longer lifecycle than PS3. (Both you & I don't know how long both systems will last)  I said it already has a year longer lifecycle than PS3.  Which means when they stop making 360's, then the PS3 has to stick around for an additional year just to be equal to the 360.  And do you really think Sony is that stupid that they would release PS4 over a year after 360's successor?

Why should I do that?  It's a fact that it doesn't matter what the 360 had at launch, because I didn't buy my system then.  So why do I care what was available before, when I can play every game that's available now?  Here's a list of good 360 games that are available NOW (which may or may not be exclusives, but they are all good games):

Bioshock, Gears of War, Guitar Hero 2, Rainbow 6, Oblivion, GRAW, F.E.A.R., Call of Duty 2 & 3, Dead or Alive 4, Prey, etc.

Yes, there are a lot of good games for 360, I know.  Most are available on PS3, but they look the exact same.  So why pay more?

I'm trying to understand your argument about launch games.  Are you saying that 360 has some sort of advantage because PS3 only has launch games?  Ok, I'll take that as a compliment.  But it's not as if PS3 game developers started developing games when the PS3 launched.  The truth is both systems have been in the planning stage for around the same time.  The only thing that stopped PS3 from being released earlier was there was a shortage of blue lasers. (Another good reason to have Blu-Ray?)  So developers have actually had MORE time (an extra year) to polish or improve PS3 games.  But all they've done is release similar copies of 360 games, with no improvement.

Oh, what exactly is the PS3 gonna have that the 360 won't this Christmas?  GTA4 & MGS4 are both delayed until 2008.  So 360 will have Halo 3 exclusively, while the PS3 will have...  Um...  What will the PS3 have???

Not likely.  MS made the 360 first, because the XBOX was a failure in comparison to PS2. (Yes, I can admit when MS fails and Sony succeeds)  So unless they start losing this generation, you can be sure they're going to ride out the 360 for as long as possible.  After all, companies don't make money on hardware, so there's no incentive to come out with new hardware when you're already winning (or a close 2nd place to Nintendo).
