Sony has it backwards

It's supposed to be the first console to hit the market is the most expensive, and the last should be cheap.  Nintendo had it right, they released their console a year after 360, and is significantly cheaper.  And look at their reward for intelligent thinking!  With the PS3, it came out a year after 360 also, but was the most expensive of the three systems.  What a stupid mistake.  Don't they realize that all the early adopters who would have paid crazy amounts of dough for a system would have done that when the 360 came out.  Early adopters don't wait, otherwise they wouldn't be early adopters...

 And without rich, eager consumers to buy their overpriced crap, Sony has put themselves in a hole they can't get out of.
